New Chief Executive Officer for the Shire of Three Springs
Shire of Three Springs Council announces the appointment of Mr Keith Woodward as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Shire of Three Springs for a five-year term commencing, 3rd November 2019.
His appointment, made at a recent Special Council Meeting, came after a competitive recruitment process conducted by Council with the assistance of John Phillips Consulting. Mr Woodward was selected as the best person to lead the organisation in its role as the local governing body for the Shire of Three Springs.
“Keith is highly experienced and has a very strong commitment to, and belief in, local government and demonstrates a good understanding of the Shire’s current position and the challenges faced by rural communities”.
Mr Woodward brings with him 32 years of local government experience including most recently serving as the Acting CEO of the Shire of Exmouth.
The council wishes Mrs Sylvia Yandle all the very best for her retirement after dedicating over 7 years to the Shire of Three Springs. Her impeccable work ethic and commitment to our Shire leave us in a very sound position to continue to build a strong and healthy community.
