The Three Springs region is traditionally wheat and sheep country, however farming has diversified greatly over recent times with the area now producing cattle, pigs, wildflowers and a wide variety of cereal crops.


The largest talc mining operations in the Southern Hemisphere is situated 10km east of Three Springs. The talc mine employs local residents in Three Springs, and the benefits of the mining operation in our community is considerable.
